Amy Adams’ favourite red carpet look made her feel like a ‘Parisian vampire’.
With the award season in full swing, the pretty actress is thinking about her dress for the upcoming Oscars ceremony.
To promote her 2008 movie Doubt the redhead donned a daring black dress, teamed with a voluminous up-do.
‘[My most daring red carpet look?] It was for the Paris screening of Doubt,’ she recalled to the British edition of Cosmopolitan.
‘I wore a beautiful Louis Vuitton dress and wanted that to be the focus, but my team were like, ‘We just want to make your hair big.’ It was big alright! It was fun – I felt like a Parisian vampire.’
The 38-year-old stands out thanks to her beautiful copper locks.Amy believes her trademark hair helped her make it big in Hollywood.
‘I feel like my career changed and my life opened up once I stopped getting highlights and embraced being a redhead. I like to use Moroccanoil on it,’ she revealed.
The star is engaged to actor-and-artist Darren Le Gallo and together they have daughter Aviana.
Amy may be a busy working mom, but she still tries to make time for a little indulgence.
‘I don’t really spend a lot of time pampering now that I have a daughter!’ she smiled.
‘Although, when I’m working, I like to heat a damp towel in the microwave and give my face a little steam at the end of the day. It kind of cleanses the day away.’
